Reader to Controller
It is recommended to use 8-core shielded twisted-pair network cable. Connect red and red-white to 12V+, black and brown-white to 12V-, green to data 0, green-white to data 1, and blue to the sound and light lines (it is strongly recommended to connect the sound and light lines). The wire diameter should be 0.5mm or above. The actual application distance can exceed 60 meters. The shielded wire should be connected to the GND of the controller. If the communication effect is poor, you can increase the wire diameter of the power supply line of the reader.
Button to Controller
Use a two-core wire with a diameter of 0.3mm or above. It is recommended to use an eight-core network cable. Connect the button to any two wires. This way, it can be easily reconnected to the reader in the future to achieve the function of two-way card swiping for entry and exit.
Electric Lock to Controller
It is recommended to use a two-core power cable with a diameter of 1.0mm or above. If the distance exceeds 50 meters, consider using a thicker wire or multiple wires in parallel. The maximum distance should not exceed 100 meters, and it is generally controlled within 70 meters.
Door Magnet to Controller
It is recommended to use a two-core wire with a diameter of 0.3mm or above. If there is no need to know the door's open and closed status online or no need for functions such as alarm for the door being open for a long time or illegal entry, the door magnet wire can be left unconnected.
TCP/IP Communication
Use standard network cables. The distance between the controller and the switch or computer should not exceed 100 meters.
Reset Controller Operation
1. There is a red jumper cap on the control board. After power off, remove it, wait for 6 seconds, then power on. The buzzer on the control board will beep twice. Then power off again, insert the jumper cap, and power on. The controller data reset is complete.
2. Open the software, right-click on the icon of the controller to be reset, select "Device" - "Reset Controller".
